All students, new and returning, must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to be awarded need-based financial assistance for the 2008-2009 academic year.

For Undergraduate students, the CLU priority deadline for filing the FAFSA is March 2, 2008. For Graduate & ADEP students, the FAFSA must be filed at least 60 days prior to enrollment. If your FAFSA is received after the priority deadline, it may result in a reduction to your financial aid package and/or delayed processing of your financial aid award.

DID YOU KNOW you can file your FAFSA before you complete your 2007 taxes?

You can provide estimated tax data when filling out the FAFSA to ensure you don't miss the March priority deadline to be considered for scholarships, grants, and other valuable financial aid. Once you have completed your taxes all you need to do is update your FAFSA with actual figures from your federal tax return and change your status from "will file" to "completed".
