Good instructional methodology ensures the success of a sound curriculum.
It is important that we prioritize excellent instructional practices
in our efforts to incorporate technologies into our teaching. Working
in concert with other campus organizations helps that happen.
CLU faculty who would like to integrate technology into their teaching
have a wide variety of resources at their fingertips: Information
Systems and Services (ISS) provides technology support to the entire
campus community. The
Teaching and Learning Committee (TLC) meets regularly to address
the teaching and learning needs of the campus and to help faculty
integrate best instructional methods into their classes. CLU's
Information Technology Advisory Committee (ITAC) analyzes campus
technology issues and
reviews and monitors the Culpeper proposals and projects.
Susan
Herzog (ISS) has compiled a comprehensive bibliography
on teaching, learning, and technology.
